Duo Halloumi Toast

This combo gives the Cypriot cheese two different flavors by combining it with pesto and peanut butter.

 

ingredients:

Whole Wheat Bread (2slices), Zucchini (1/2), Light Halloumi Cheese (75 g), 1TSP Pesto, 1 TSP Peanut Butter

Secret Ingredient: Oregano

Total Time: 10 min

 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Slice a cheese block in half.

2. Cut half zucchini into thick coin-shaped pieces.

3. Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high and cook the zucchini and the cheese for about three minutes per side.

4. Spread the peanut butter on one piece of bread. Spread the pesto on the other one.

5. Add the halloumi and the zucchini on top and season it with oregano.

 If you want to get it even more experimental, put the slices together and eat them as a sandwich.
